What if you could feel and look five to ten years younger than you really are? It is possible! No, we’re not selling you anti-aging potions or expensive anti-aging treatments which don’t work. However, we want you to know that it is possible to look and feel younger! The secret: nutrition!

About 5 years ago one of our clients at our Miami based med spa came in for a facial, she was well into her sixties. She had gorgeous skin and she looked to be in her forties. Can you imagine that? In any event, she shared with us that she was a Vegan since she was in her twenties because she developed adult acne and could not find a cure. We were amazed.

So some of us tried out this Vegan/detox/juicing thing for 4 weeks. The result: clear beautiful skin! Oh, yes, if you desire to have long hair, this is the diet for you. Your hair will grow faster than sitting through a hair extension session.

We realize that most people cannot adopt the Vegan diet. What we do know for sure is that if you want to look 5 to 10 years younger, you should eat lots of fruits and veggies high in antioxidants. The easiest way to combine this type of diet into your daily nutritional intake is by:

  1. Buy a juicer, and stock up on a large amount of  a weekly supply of  veggies and fruits. Juice as many greens as you think you can tolerate and add apples or pears to sweeten the drink and take away the bitter taste. A tall glass in the morning will do the trick!
  2. Eat lots protein rich natural food such as veggies, nuts and legumes.
Try this green smoothie recipe (juice the following):
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1/2 bunch kale or chard
  • 1 pear
  • 1 apple (2 if you like)
  • 1/4 bunch cilantro

Drink a green smoothie per day, even twice a day, and you may discover that the natural way to the ‘fountain of youth.’
