Cellulite Friendly Breakfast Recipe

We’d like to thank our client Tzippie for sharing this delicious, Vegan, healthy breakfast recipe with us. Tzippie resides in Sunny Isles with four gorgeous daughters, and while she has a fit and slender body, she had cellulite ( grade 1, minimal, but to her, it was bothersome and she knew we could help her) she was unhappy with. During one of our VelaShape treatments she shared one of her delicious breakfast recipes and swears by it helping her to keep the weight down and fight the cellulite plague.

Tzippie’s Delicious Nutty Quinoa Berry Breakfast…

Ingredients:

1 cup non-fat soy milk

1 cup filtered water

1 cup quinoa

2 cups blackberries or blueberries (or both, entirely up to your taste)

1/2 cup ground cinnamon

1/3 cup roasted pecans

Natural sweetener of your choice (our favorite: agave)

Cooking directions:

  1. In medium saucepan bring milk, water and quinoa to a boil over high heat.
  2. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover and simmer 15 minutes or until most of the liquid has been absorbed.
  3. Turn off heat, leave saucepan covered for 5 minutes.
  4. If you so desire, roast the pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat for approximately 3 minutes.
  5. Stir berries of your choice and cinnamon into quinoa; transfer to bowls (serves approximately 4 people) and top with pecans.
  6. Drizzle with natural sweetener of your choice (agave or organic dark honey).

Voila! You’ve just made a figure friendly gourmet breakfast.
