Laser Hair Removal Black Skin

"ingrown hair treatments before after results"

We’ve been treating black skin and painful ingrown hair conditions for over 32 years. Our sister company, Laser Hair Removal Miami, LLC, has been treating African-American men and women since 1996. It is an unfortunate fact that black men and women (yes, women too) suffer from painful ingrowns. A large number of African-American women suffer from unwanted facial hair; and in an attempt to rid themselves of this unsightly problem, they resort to shaving which leads to razor bumps. Because African-Americans have very coarse hair that is curved, as a result of shaving, the follicles that grow, curl back under the skin, causing painful and irritated razor bumps.

If you’ve find yourself in this position, there’s good news! We have a safe, effective, FDA approved laser hair removal technology (CoolGlide) which will treat black skin without causing any discoloration to the skin.

Please call us at 305-864-8824 to schedule a complementary consultation. We sincerely hope that we will be able to help you and finally give you the opportunity to enjoy smooth skin, and most importantly, no more painful ingrowns!

    Hi Eva,

I recently seen your videos on, I have a crisis with my face. Ive suffered from facial hair all my life. and because i have light brown skin the facial hair shows ALOT. Ive tried everything(waxing, hair removal cream, razor shaving, electric shaving, threading, even laser hair removal). The laser hair removal place that i been to actually made me have even more hair than i had before. I dont know what to do anymore, When I saw your video you explained that you’ve worked with African-Americans. Do you think my facial hair will be able to be removed permenantly? please i need your help.

      Hi Sandra:

Sorry for the delay in answering your question. Your comment went to my spam inbox. So, to answer your question. First, there is absolutely NO way that any type of laser hair removal treatments you had made your body produce more hair. There are three stages of hair growth, so perhaps on the day you noticed what you think to be more hair growth, was actually a day your body’s hair growth phase was more active. As for do I think laser will help you, YES, ABSOLUTELY!!!! But, very important, only the CoolGlide laser is safe for black skin. It’s the only one we trust in our med spa.

      Hope this helps!

      — Eva

Dear Joyce: You’re very sweet! Unfortunately, I don’t know anyone in Maryland. However, I can give you a starting point…. Search for any practitioner that utilizes the CoolGlide laser technology. I made a video vlog (which has helped many like you who have written to me) on what to look for in a reputable laser/facial med spa. Please have a look through my laser playlist, and hopefully you’ll find some useful info and advice: Hope this information helps. Wishing you best of health! — Eva.

    Hi there,
Any recommendations for specialists that do laser hair removal on dark brown skin in or near San Jose, Ca?

    • medspa33154 says:

No, sorry, we don’t know of anyone. Look for an establishment that offers CoolGlide laser hair removal technology. IPL is not real laser and will not deliver permanent results. You want a YAG based laser. Hope this helps.
